MFIN is a charity and a company limited by guarantee, first constituted in May 2004, and then becoming a company in April 2005. We are run by a Board of Directors, which has included representatives from the local Citizens’ Advice Bureaux, Midlothian Advice & Resource Centre, Midlothian Voluntary Action, Changeworks and other organisations who have an interest in financial inclusion. The Board is supported by advisors from Midlothian Council’s Welfare Rights Team.
